Inscription: In the “Summer of Love,” the first major protests against the illegal and immoral Vietnam war took place in San Francisco and New York and they soon spread across the U.S. Today, the ghosts of 50 years of continuous war (e.g. Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Palestine) implore us to use people to people diplomacy – not war – to resolve grievances. They warn against Nationalism, fear-mongering, war-profiteering and the militarization of domestic police.
